Handmade speckled ceramic oil burner with bubbles of white glaze

This is a beautiful handmade oil burner, which I made on a pottery wheel in my backyard in Geelong, Australia.
I make things out of clay as a way to switch off my brain and calm down a bit. I hope that you find burning your favourite scented oil in this oil burner will give you a moment of calm too.
This oil burner is glazed inside. The exterior is unglazed so that you can see the beautiful raw clay with its tiny speckles.
This oil burner is made with care, and is designed to last for generations to come. It would make a lovely gift for a special occasion, or a special treat for yourself.

To use the oil burner:
– Fill the bowl with water
– Add a few drops of essential oil (I like the Gentle Habits ones best)
– Light a tealight candle in the base of the burner
– Make sure the bowl never burns dry – top up with extra water from time to time as needed
– As you will use a tealight candle, take your usual fire-safety precautions
– Enjoy the beautiful calming scent of your oil, and the soft glow of the candlelight.
The bowl of this oil burner comes off the base, making it easy to clean.
